Eumarellah is a club-run alpine lodge designed to provide year-round, high quality club-style alpine accommodation to Members and Guests.
It has regular accommodation for 39 persons in a variety to room configurations designed to meet family needs. During the winter season, Eumarellah has live-in managers to meet and greet Members and Guests and oversee the running of the facilities.
It was one of the last private lodges granted a lease following the original Davenport sub-division and was constructed in 1981. Since then, it has undergone regular renovation to maintain a high standard of contemporary accommodation.
Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge is located in the beautiful township of Dinner Plain – about 4.5 hours north east of Melbourne and 2.5 hours from Albury. At an altitude of 5,200 feet above sea level, Dinner plain enjoys mild summers and snowy winters. Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge has a total of 6 bedrooms, with ample space to host visitors to Dinner Plain. There are five guest bedrooms sharing three bathrooms located across the passageway from the guest accommodation.
Upstairs there is a very large open plan living room and dining room and a kitchen from which breakfast is prepared and served. There are also two outside decks, one a small north facing deck and the other a large south-facing deck overlooking the Alpine National Park and the cross country ski trail (in winter) and a bush walking track in the warmer months. There is a large open fire in the lounge and a television set with Foxtel channels available for use by house guests. Free wi-fi, on-site parking and dry storage for ski equipment is available to all guests. Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge is ideally suited for both single travellers and couples looking for high quality hosted accommodation.
